About Me
My name is Caroline Njambi Wa Njau, widely known as Njambi wa Njau. I am an international media personality, journalist, and digital content creator with a passion for storytelling that informs, inspires, and empowers. My journey in media began in Kenya, where I discovered early on that my voice, presence, and curiosity could be used to create meaningful impact.
I was born and raised in Limuru, Kenya, the last-born in a family of four. My educational journey began locally, where I completed my primary and secondary education before pursuing higher learning in communication and media. I studied at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and later at Multimedia University, where I trained in Mass Communication. These academic experiences shaped my understanding of media ethics, storytelling, and the responsibility that comes with being a communicator.
While in university, I joined Liberty Theatre Arts as a set books actress, an experience that strengthened my confidence, creativity, and performance skills. It was during this time that I received my first opportunity in the media industry. I joined Royal Media Services, one of Kenya’s leading media houses, where I started as a show host and later transitioned into news reporting. This foundation allowed me to grow into a versatile journalist, comfortable both in the field and in the studio.
In 2018, I expanded my professional experience by working with Slopes Media House as a news reporter and anchor. In 2020, I returned to Royal Media Services, where I served as a prime-time news anchor and reporter. My journalism journey has been deeply inspired by legendary journalist Julie Gichuru, whose excellence, authenticity, and leadership influenced my approach to storytelling and professional growth.
My career later took an international turn when I transitioned from Kenya to the United States. Today, I work across media, film, digital content creation, event hosting, and event planning. I have built a strong digital presence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, where I share lifestyle content, fashion, media insights, and personal experiences with a global audience. My work reflects my belief in growth, reinvention, and using media as a tool to connect cultures and communities.
Beyond my professional life, I am deeply passionate about inspiring and empowering women. I actively participate in forums, conferences, and conversations that encourage women to embrace their purpose, confidence, and leadership. I strongly believe that every woman was born to shine, and I strive to reflect that belief through my work, my voice, and my platform.
When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, driving, listening to music, and watching documentaries and films, creative outlets that continue to shape my storytelling perspective.
My journey is a reflection of faith, resilience, growth, and purpose. Through everything I do, I remain committed to excellence, authenticity, and creating content that leaves a lasting and meaningful impact.
